Winter RC Bashing - Rustler VXL w/ snow chains
Some footage of my XL-5 & VXL with zip-ties as chains, and then real chains for the tires. It was also a test for my new Tenergy propel 4500 6cell batts that I made - which worked very nicely indeed. The video was shot over a few days, and with all of the snow we've been getting, it made for different driving conditions each day. The real chains held up great, and give fantastic traction, and are tough are nails. I made sure to waterproof/snowproof all of the electronics. The XL-5 has an Electrify s-600 19T motor, geared 16/83 and then 28/83(still pulling standing wheelies on 6 cells!). The VXL is geared 25/90 with masher 2k's on the stock VXL motor.

Rustler - MM7700 - Snow Chains
Rustler - mm7700 - 2s lipo - Testing out some homemade snow chains on the Ruslter last year 2007. Worked pretty well.
