Waterproofing your RC and winter running PT 1

Both are basically the same and I included the nitro engine and difficulties that it experiences in the snow and also rain and water. The first section is on batteries where you should look at electrical contacts and seal them with eletrical tape and liquid tape or skotchguard by 3m. the receiver can use a balloon baloon and a zip tie for one method. Another is to use plastic dip and the last is pouring liquid tape on it. The motor does not need weather proofing or winterizing. The nitro engine needs a sock or foam wrapped around the head to retain heat. How to break in a Nitro RC engine Part 5 Break in theory

I describe the processes in this video and then in the next 3 vids I will be outside with the kit showing exactly how to do the break ins step by step. The methods described are the traxxas method and also the new school method. The third is my own which is a combination of the two. The key to these are multiple tanks at 200 degrees to help conform the piston to the sleeve via heat. This is a ten video rc nitro break in series. The series is designed on how to guide the novice to experienced racing pro or basher on how to break in a nitro rc properly.
